About Kangra Fort

Most visitors reach Kangra Fort by road from Dharamshala or Kangra town. Also, the walk inside is fairly long, so wear comfortable shoes. Then carry water, because shade is limited on the ramparts. Because the fort is large, plan around two to three hours. Early morning gives softer light and fewer crowds.
